We are looking to hire a jack of all trades with an intense curiosity and drive to learn. The span of work would encompass almost all non-tech business development activities (and even some tech, if able), such as marketing, operations, sales, legal, and more.

Location: Beirut, Cairo, Dubai, or other Middle Eastern cities.

Sample Scope of Work

The work is constantly changing. this is a sample of activities where we need support today:

• Building and executing our marketing and sales strategies. (which businesses do we approach and how? How do we market to them?)
• Launching and managing a variety of advocacy efforts promoting understanding and awareness of Bitcoin in the Middle East: writing blog posts, doing interviews, giving talks, organizing events, etc.
• Product development: new feature development, market research, testing, and piloting new products (both B2B and B2C) as well as additional features on existing products.
• And likely a lot more we haven’t thought about, that you can bring to the table.

We don’t expect the person coming on board to be capable to work on all these tasks, but we expect them to be excited to learn new skills on the go, and move fast.

We’ll provide as much support as possible, but we expect you to be able to work independently, i.e., take on a task and run with it. We’re a startup, and a lot of what we do is new, and in uncharted territory.

• You preferably have some marketing and/or sales and/or startup experience
• You are fluent in English and Arabic
• You’ll be compensated with a combination of cash and equity
• The role is quite flexible, you can come on board part-time or full-time.

We’re looking to hire a full-time developer to join our team. You’ll have the opportunity to be all hands on deck and help define product vision and direction. You’ll work on all elements of our core product development.

You’ll have the opportunity to work on many exciting dev challenges, including improving the scalability of our infrastructure to handle rapid customer onboarding, tightening our integration with the Bitcoin protocol, developing industry-standard security and encryption, building our merchant frontend tools, and much more.

• Some familiarity with Bitcoin (Bitcoin development experience not required)
• Either front or back-end dev experience & an interest in expanding your skill set in both
• Super fast learner — the Bitcoin space is evolving very rapidly, you’ll want to keep up

• Sharp problem solving — We’ve got lots of tough challenges that need to be cracked
